Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly's dark romance - blood-drinking rituals to manifesting

Megan Fox and Machine Gun Kelly only started dating in 2020, but the loved-up pair have made the headlines plenty of times due to their full-on romance.

The 35-year-old Transformers actress and the rapper, 32, got engaged in January this year - further cementing their love for one another.

The pair have made no secret about how head-over-heels they are for each other.

And as their relationship gets stronger, the couple have revealed unusual things they like to do - including drinking each other's blood.

Megan opened up about their strange rituals in a recent interview - where she revealed she "manifested" her dream man.

Here's a delve into their dark love story...

Megan claims she 'manifested' her fiancé

In a chat with Glamour UK, Megan explained how she believes she created Machine Gun Kelly by the power of manifestation.

Megan - who featured in a striking cover shoot for the magazine - shared: "Because he's literally my exact physical type that I've been manifesting since I was four. I'm also four years older than him.

"So, I think I made him. My thoughts and intentions grew him into the person that he is, who knows what he would've looked like or been like if it wasn't for me."

The Hollywood star also discussed her and her partner's taste for blood.

She said while the drinking of the red stuff is a "passage", Machine Gun Kelly he's more "haphazard".

"When I do it, it's a passage or it is used for a reason. And it is controlled where it's like, ‘Let’s shed a few drops of blood and each drink it.’

"He [MGK]’s much more haphazard and hectic and chaotic, where he’s willing to just cut his chest open with broken glass and be like, ‘take my soul.’”

Last year they travelled to Costa Rica where they drank the psychoactive plant brew ayahuasca - which was given to them by a shaman.

The ancient drink is said to heal past traumas and mental health conditions.

The couple said that it "bound" them together and opened a door for Megan to heal.

Jennifer's Body star Megan uploaded a video clip that captured the moment that her beau, 31, bent the knee and shared with fans that she and the rapper drank each other's blood after agreeing to tie the knot.

In the footage, the mother of three, who was previously married to Brian Austin Green - appears overwhelmed with emotion as she watches Machine Gun Kelly present her with a diamond ring.

Megan uploaded a lengthy caption with the video and detailed how they had "walked through hell together" and now couldn't be happier to be getting wed.

She typed: "In July of 2020 we sat under this banyan tree. We asked for magic. We were oblivious to the pain we would face together in such a short, frenetic period of time.

"Unaware of the work and sacrifices the relationship would require from us but intoxicated off of the love. And the karma.

"Somehow a year and a half later, having walked through hell together, and having laughed more than I ever imagined possible, he asked me to marry him."

Megan then explained that she said yes before adding that they followed the romantic moment by drinking each other's blood.

She wrote: "And just as in every lifetime before this one, and as in every lifetime that will follow it, I said yes.…and then we drank each other’s blood 1.11.22."
