It really is a case of the land of my fathers in Welsh rugby these days.
There are a startling number of sons of former Wales internationals out there playing the game at various levels.
The Wales U20s squad for the Junior World Championship out in Argentina included no fewer than three of them.
And as you look around the rugby scene, you realise just how many players there are with famous dads.
Ieuan Evans - Cai Evans
Utility back Cai was one of the trio of sons of former Welsh internationals included in the U20s squad for next month’s Junior World Championship, with his dad being Lions winger Ieuan Evans. Cai, 19, has made four senior appearances for the Ospreys and played a number of times for Bridgend in the Premiership.

Gareth Llewellyn - Max Llewellyn
Like Evans, fellow U20s squad member Max has a dad who is a former Wales skipper in the 92-cap Gareth Llewellyn. While his father was a second row, Blues Academy youngster Max, 20, plays in the centre, but has the height of a lock at 6ft 6ins, as well as the skills of a back, as he has shown for Cardiff RFC this term.
Mark Taylor - Llew Phillips Taylor
While the 52-times capped Mark Taylor played in the centre, his son, Llew, has taken on a very different position at hooker. He has been with the Scarlets Academy and part of the Wales U18s squad. With his 18th birthday coming up on Saturday, he is currently looking for a club for next season.
Nigel Davies - Sam Davies
There’s a lot of debate about fly-half Sam Davies’ future, as we wait to see whether he will stay with the Ospreys or move to the Dragons or elsewhere. As for the past, his centre father Nigel won 29 caps for Wales, ahead of coaching stints with the Scarlets and Gloucester, as well as at international level.
Owain Williams - Henri & Teddy Williams
Former Bridgend and Cardiff back rower has two sons at Welsh regional Academies, with Henri on the Dragons books and fellow lock Teddy with the Blues. Henri has been on loan at Paul Turner’s Ampthill, while Teddy is in the Wales U20s squad for Argentina.
Dai Young - Thomas Young
After being released by Cardiff Blues, Thomas was offered a career lifeline by his dad, the Wasps coach and former Wales and Lions prop Dai Young. The flanker has gone on to more than repay his father’s faith in him, proving one of the most consistent performers in the English Premiership. Unlucky to only have three caps to his name.
Paul Moriarty - Ross Moriarty
This is some rugby dynasty, with Ross Moriarty’s father Paul and uncle Richard both having played for Wales with distinction. Dragons back rower Ross is following in their footsteps in style, with 31 caps and a Grand Slam under his belt.
Brynmor Williams - Lloyd & Tom Williams
Brynmor had the unique record of playing as many Tests for the Lions as for Wales, three. His son Lloyd, also a scrum-half, has won 28 caps, while his younger boy, winger Tom, has just signed for Jersey after being alongside his brother at Cardiff Blues.
Steve Moore - Sam Moore
There’s been a lot written about Sale No 8 Sam, who has played for England, but has been wanted by Wales. Born in Cardiff, the 20-year-old is the son of one Welsh international second row (Steve) and the nephew of another (Andy)
Paul John - Dan John
Millfield pupil Dan figured at full-back for Wales U18s in the recent Six Nations festival in England. He has had a spell playing in Hong Kong, where his father Paul, a 10-times capped scrum-half, coaches the national Sevens team.
Robin McBryde - Billy McBryde
Having previously played for Llanelli, the Scarlets and Wales U20s, fly-half Billy joined RGC last year, returning to the north Wales roots of his ex-hooker father Robin, who will be linking up with Leinster after the World Cup.
Andy Allen - Morgan Allen
Cardiff No 8 Morgan, 29, is well travelled, having had spells with the Ospreys and Scarlets, as well as turning out for Bedwas, Pontypool, Swansea, Aberavon, Llanelli, Carmarthen Quins and Bedwas. His second row father won three Wales caps, all in 1990.
Kingsley Jones - Rhys & Dorian Jones
Versatile back Rhys, 31, has a string of teams behind him including the Scarlets, Sale, Cornish Pirates, Newport, Llanelli, Carmarthen Quins and Cross Keys, while fly-half Dorian, 26, is with Soyaux Angouleme in France. Both played under dad Kingsley at the Dragons.
Garin Jenkins - Owen Jenkins
Winger Owen has followed his hooker father Garin in wearing the red of Wales, making numerous appearances on the international Sevens circuit. He has also played 15-a-side rugby for Pontypridd and the Blues.

Ricky Evans - Owen Evans
Propping runs in the family, with Ricky having played 19 times for Wales in the mid-1990s, while fellow loosehead Owen, 30, is now at Doncaster after stints with the Scarlets, Dragons and Harlequins.
Kevin Phillips - Ifan Phillips
Like his 20-cap father Kevin, the 23-year-old Ifan is also a hooker, who has made 16 appearances for the Ospreys, while also appearing for Carmarthen Quins, Swansea and representing Wales U20s.

Colin Stephens - Iwan Stephens
A family tree with a difference, as teenager Iwan is playing rugby league with Leeds Rhinos, in the city where his father moved to after winning four caps for Wales at fly-half.
Lyn Jones - Luc Jones
Scrum-half Luc played under his father Lyn at the Dragons ahead of trying his hand at Harlequins, Richmond and, most recently, Jersey.
There are also a host of other current players whose dads had notable rugby careers.....
