Hulu’s new reality TV series The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives picks up on a TikTok drama for the ages: a group of women embroiled in a Mormon swinging scandal.
The star of the show is Taylor Frankie Paul, the 30-year-old woman who became the centre of a furore when she introduced #MomTok to “soft swinging.” In her confessional, Frankie Paul implicated some of her fellow Mormon MomTok influencers. Social media (and the broader internet) lapped it up.
Now, Frankie Paul, who has 4.1 million followers, has been joined by six of her Mormon friends (and some of their husbands) as they share their lives with the world.

Along with her sex scandal that involved “stepping outside the bounds” of a soft-swinging agreement with her husband that excluded “going all the way”, Frankie Paul was also arrested in February 2023 on serious charges of assault, criminal mischief and commission of domestic violence in the presence of a child. She pleaded guilty to aggravated assault in August 2023, and the remaining charges were dropped, according to ABC4. Frankie Paul shares two children with her ex-husband, Tate Paul. According to Paul, her new boyfriend, Dakota Mortensen, is the man she “cheated with.”
Paul has shared details on social media about 2022 being the sh**test year of my life.” She referring to depression, ectopic pregnancy and the breakdown of her marriage. She added: “However, my village has never changed, and they stayed by my side; for that, I’m extremely blessed to have them.”
