Meet the five Dublin finalists for the Miss Ireland crown

The five Dublin finalists competing for the Miss Ireland title have been revealed and the line-up includes a human rights lawyer and a champion dancer.

37 finalists from around the country will compete for the coveted title at the Royal Theatre Castlebar on August 20. 2022 sees Miss Ireland celebrate it's 75th Jubilee year, having started back in 1947.

The competition has launched many a career for Irish women, including Rosanna Davison who went on to win Miss Universe in 2003. This year's Dublin finalists will be will represent their local area and attend various awards, openings and engagements in their county over the next year as well as working on their various charity projects.

As part of the contest, each finalist will be put through their paces in a challenging competitive process testing their skills in debating, public speaking, talent, sports, modelling, social media. Each finalist will also be tasked with raising much-needed awareness and funds for their chosen charities.

Representing Dublin at this year's Miss Ireland is 18 year old Katie O'Connor who works as a makeup artist in a salon. Katie is also a model and ballroom and Latin dancer, having travelled the world to perform and compete.

Katie is also a volunteer support for Straight Ahead Ireland which works with helping scoliosis patients like herself.

Miss Dublin Central Jasmine Gerhardt hails from Clonee. The 24 year old is a law graduate and Human Rights Masters student.

25 year old Miss Dublin City CeCe Tiesoh is from Blanchardstown and studied Dental Nursing in Trinity College and is currently working as a nurse and model.

Representing Dublin South is 23 year old Kate Coffey who lives in Ballsbridge.

Kate is currently studying a master’s degree in Smurfit Business School, UCD specialising in Marketing and Retail Innovation. She also works as a model and social media influencer.

Finally, Miss Dublin West is 19 year old content producer and a Film and Broadcasting student Britney Madondo.

With a passion for community-based initiatives that promote the needs of disadvantaged people, Britney has worked with families of people in long term imprisonment.
