Donkeys, alpacas and goats have become internet sensations at a Dumfries attraction.
Dalscone Farm Fun started posting videos and doing live streams during lockdown to give people a glimpse of life for the animals when people weren’t there.
Births, feeding time and animals enjoying the outdoors have racked up millions of views across the world with many now coming to Dumfries to see the animals up close.
Some of the most watched involves donkeys including Pumpkin, who was born last October, and Winston. They went down a treat when people had to stay at home with hee haw to do.
Park manager Ben Best said: “People were intrigued with the animal births and how we looked after them and it progressed from there.
“We average about 20,000 views per video now. Our highest viewed video is Pumpkin the donkey doing a roly-poly and that has nine million views.
“Rio, who is Pumpkin’s mum, giving birth is heading towards five million. It’s been a real success.
“We do Facebook Live videos so we schedule them and make them more accessible for people to watch rather than just spring it on them.
“We normally have between 700 and 800 people viewing at any one time and that’s all through the streams that last 30 to 40 minutes. We’re bringing the experience of a live birth right to their device.
“We’ve got our donkey cam which streams 24/7 which will become the lamb cam later this year during lambing season.
