Meet Basil, Sybil and Manuel as 'Faulty Towers' dining experience returns to Edinburgh Fringe

Have you ever wanted to witness one of Basil Fawlty's almighty meltdowns at close quarters?

Well, fans of iconic comedy Fawlty Towers are able to enjoy the closest thing to a chaotic dinner at the fictional hotel when a long-running show returns to the Edinburgh Fringe this year.

The 'Faulty Towers Dining Experience' will be running throughout most of August at the Imagination Workshop on George Street.

Those behind the show describe it as "officially the world's longest-running and most sought-after tribute to the BBC's iconic sitcom".

They say that "Basil's still rude, Manuel's still confused and Sybil's still cracking the whip".

The show is said to be roughly 70 per cent improvised, meaning you'll never see the same thing twice.

Those who go along will be served up a three course meal, and no doubt plenty of mayhem.

The two-hour show will run from 1 to 2 August and then from 4 to 26 August. For more information visit the Edinburgh Fringe website .
