Defending Miami Open champion Daniil Medvedev secured his 350th career victory as he advanced to the quarterfinals for the fourth consecutive year. The No. 3 seed triumphed over Dominik Koepfer with a 7-6 (5), 6-0 victory on Tuesday at the Miami Open.

After a closely contested opening set, Medvedev rallied from a 4-0 deficit in the tiebreaker to claim the set. The Russian player extended his winning streak in south Florida to nine matches, showcasing his determination to defend his title and pursue back-to-back victories.

Medvedev is set to face Nicolas Jarry, the No. 22 seed, in the quarterfinals as he aims for his 351st career win on Wednesday. Jarry advanced by defeating No. 7 seed Casper Ruud with a 7-6 (3), 6-3 victory.

Meanwhile, Australian Open champion Jannik Sinner, seeded No. 2, continued his impressive form by securing a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Christopher O'Connell to reach the quarterfinals.

In a display of sportsmanship, Sinner paused play when a spectator fainted due to the high temperatures, offering assistance before resuming the match.

Other notable results include Tomas Machac advancing to the quarterfinals with a 6-3, 6-3 win over Matteo Arnaldi. Top-seeded Carlos Alcaraz is scheduled to compete in his fourth-round match later on Tuesday.

Women's Matches

On the women's side, two-time Grand Slam champion Victoria Azarenka secured a spot in the semifinals by defeating Yulia Putintseva 7-6 (4), 1-6, 6-3. Azarenka, a three-time Miami Open winner, showcased her resilience and experience on the court.

No. 4 seed Elena Rybakina is set to face No. 8 seed Maria Sakkari in a highly anticipated match on Tuesday night, adding to the excitement of the tournament.
