Medical relief NGO MedGlobal has stepped up to assist 400 Lebanese families who have been displaced by the recent conflict between Israel and Hezbollah. Dr. Tania Baban, leading the efforts, announced that the organization is ready to deliver essential supplies including food, winterization kits, hygiene kits, and dignity kits for women and young girls.
Dr. Baban highlighted the urgency of the situation, noting that over 100,000 individuals have already been displaced, with numbers rising rapidly. The NGO is actively identifying the families in need and coordinating distribution to ensure timely assistance.
Reflecting on the violence that has engulfed Lebanon in recent days, Dr. Baban emphasized that such turmoil should not be normalized. She expressed concern over the increasing frequency of tragic events and stressed the importance of preserving human life and dignity.
Dr. Hassan, based in Lebanon, echoed these sentiments, underscoring the devastating impact of the conflict on civilians. He lamented the normalization of death and destruction, urging for a collective effort to prevent further suffering.
The ongoing conflict has brought immense hardship to the people of Lebanon, with communities grappling with fear and uncertainty. MedGlobal's intervention aims to provide much-needed relief to those affected, offering a glimmer of hope amidst the chaos.
As the situation continues to evolve, humanitarian organizations like MedGlobal play a crucial role in supporting vulnerable populations and promoting peace and stability in the region.
