McVitie’s have launched brand-new tartlets adding to their sweet range that will delight sweet-toothed fans craving a biscuity treat with a twist. The announcement from the snack food giant will see them bring to market tartlets in two flavours.
Fans of McVitie's can bite into a crumbly biscuit base and white cream filling. The topping is where it is really at, which comes in either a silky chocolate or raspberry yoghurt flavour.
Costing 75p per 100g pack, McVitie's say their new tartlets are a 'more affordable option for biscuit-lovers on a budget who can’t resist a sweet treat'.
Cassie French, Marketing Director – pladis UK&I, said: “We’re very excited to welcome Tartlets to the McVitie’s family. As evidenced by our wide range of beloved biscuits, we’re always looking to give our fans something new to try.
"And at just 75p per pack, McVitie’s Tartlets offer great value so that everyone can still enjoy a sweet treat.” The tartlets are the perfect pick-me-up to counteract that 3pm afternoon slump.

As well as being enjoyed as a standalone tartlet treat, they can also be used to add a little excitement to a plain bowl of ice cream. Up your dessert game by roughly breaking up a couple of McVitie's raspberry tartlets and mixing it through vanilla ice cream, or raspberry ripple ice cream for more berry drama.
This is a great way to get experimental with these new McVitie's biscuits. If chocolate is more your thing, use chocolate ice cream as a fabulous foundation instead.
Roughly break up a few McVitie's chocolate tartlets and mix through chocolate ice cream. Layer up in a sundae glass with scoops of chocolate ice cream, whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles to create a delicious dessert that takes minutes to put together, but has a wow factor that will impress people of all ages.
McVitie’s Tartlets are available now in Asda and some discount stores. They will be rolling out in further supermarkets soon.
