McDonald's has unveiled two additions to its drinks menu to mark the start of the festive season - and a popular favourite is making a comeback alongside a brand new beverage.
The fast food giant is set to add the two limited-edition drinks to its menu from Thursday, 3 November, which will both be served in specially designed cups decorated with Christmas cartoons to get customers in the festive spirit. The £1.49 Hot Chocolate Deluxe will be returning for the occasion, made with chocolate syrup and topped with cream.
Meanwhile, a new drink will be coming to the menu for the first time this year in the form of the Caramel Waffle Latte. The £2.09 drink comes with a caramel waffle syrup, a caramel cream topping and a dusting of sugar, WalesOnline reports.

McDonald's recently added the McCrispy as the first permanent chicken burger to its menu in 15 years, with a crunchy chicken breast marinated in black pepper and cayenne. The chain also added four new items to the menu last month: the Twirl McFlurry, BBQ Bacon Stack, Potato Waffles, and Nacho Cheese wedges.
These additions replaced the Chicken Legend, Big Tasty, Spicy McNuggets, Mozzarella Dippers, Twix and Mars McFlurry, which were removed from the menu to make way for the new items. McDonald's has put a festive twist on its food menu in previous years as well as giving its drinks a Christmas makeover, so customers should keep their eyes peeled for more additions in the coming weeks.
McDonald's is not the only popular food and drink chain to have given its menu a festive makeover recently. Starbucks announced some new treats as well as returning favourites for Christmas, including a Gingerbread Latte, Festive Feast Panini, and Toffee Nut Muffin.
Costa has also unveiled its seasonal menu for the festive period, which will include a Toblerone-inspired latte and hot chocolate for the first time. The popular Terry's Chocolate Orange hot chocolate will also be back, along with hot sandwiches inspired by Christmas dinner.
