McDonald's to introduce adult Happy Meal with free toy included - but is it coming to Ireland?

McDonald's have launched an adult version of their iconic Happy Meals later and there's even a toy included.

Anyone who was a kid and dined at the 'Golden Arches' would probably have had a Happy Meal at some point, as they remain among the most ordered items on the McDonald's menu.

The glory days might be back now as McDonald's has partnered with Cactus Plant Flea Market, a fashion label that focuses on creating original streetwear, for a new meal deal for the month of October.

Running through till October 30, McDonald's will offer the Cactus Plant Flea Market Meal Box, where adults can pretend like they're kids once more and dig into the box.

In the adult's Happy Meal, you'll get either a Big Mac or a 10-piece Chicken McNuggets, as well as a soda and fries - and one of Grimace, the Hamburglar, Birdie and newcomer Cactus Buddy to play with.

"We're taking one of the most nostalgic McDonald's experiences and literally repackaging it in a new way that's hyper-relevant for our adult fans," Tariq Hassan, McDonald's USA Chief Marketing and Customer Experience Officer said in a statement.

“I can’t wait to give fans a unique piece of art and culture as we dive headfirst into the dynamic world of Cactus Plant Flea Market together.

"With menu favourites like the Big Mac and McNuggets at the centre of this collab, this is another way we're reigniting a new generation’s love for our food and the brand.”

However, there is bad news for you outside of America - it's only being run in the US.

The company have not stated whether it will make it's way over the Atlantic, so for now Irish McDonald's fans will have to wait.
