McDonald's employees have access to their own private Monopoly prize game.
Monopoly has now returned to Mcdonald's meals, which means customers can get their hands on a range of prizes. Between instant and redeemable prizes, fans of the fast food chain are in with a chance to win everything from a free McFlurry to a TUI holiday worth up to £2,000.
The scratch-and-win game is a firm favourite with McDonald's customers but staff are able to enjoy a perk not available to the rest of the public. After a video was shared on TikTok regarding an employee 'cheating' the game, McDonald's confirmed there is a separate game for team members, which has been running for over 10 years.

PlymouthLive contacted McDonald's to find out more information about the secret Monopoly game. A spokesperson at McDonald's said it has a 'separate competition' featuring a combination of quizzes and games. They confirmed staff can win all of the same prizes, other than the £100,000 cash prize.
A video was shared on TikTok at a UK McDonald's, reportedly showing a staff member flicking through the Monopoly stickers. McDonald's UK said: "Rest assured we have a separate game for our employees - we cannot win the game our customers play."
A spokesperson for McDonald's added: "We run a separate competition to allow our people to take part in Monopoly. Crew can win all the same prizes that our customers can win (other than the £100,000 cash prize). It runs through our intranet and has been running for over 10 years.
"It’s a combination of quizzes and games that our crew can play on the intranet, the games and quizzes that they can play change daily. Unfortunately, we’ve not got any imagery of crew taking part."
This year, the ‘double peel’ feature gives players double the chance of winning big, through the physical peel award and the digital QR code. This can be done on the McDonald's App.
The rare McDonald's Monopoly pieces are Mayfair (dark blue), Bond Street (green), Coventry Street (yellow), Strand (red), Marlborough Street (orange), Euston Road (light blue), Northumberland Avenue (pink) and Old Kent Road (Brown.)
