Earlier this month, fast food giant McDonald's introduced an exciting new menu to its restaurants across the UK.
The new menu sees five exciting fresh additions, and includes a McChicken BLT, Nacho Cheese Wedges, Salted Caramel Lattes and a Quarter Pounder Deluxe burger.
One of the most popular items on the new menu is the Spicy Quarter Pounder, which includes two slices of pepper jack cheese, onions, jalapeños, mustard as well as a spicy ketchup. Sounds delicious.
But not everyone has been keen on the burger, and some people who can't handle spice have been complaining, reports the Daily Star.
Several McDonald's fans have taken to social media to complain that their spicy burgers are....spicy.
Writing on Twitter, one social media user wrote: “Spicy Quarter Pounder sauce is too much. Spoils it.”
"Is it just me or is the new McDonald’s Spicy Quarter Pounder bloody spicy?" complained somebody else.
A third commented: "If you’re curious about the Spicy Quarter Pounder. Don’t be. It’s vile."
But while dozens have complained about the menu item, others can’t get enough of it.
On Twitter, a customer gushed: “I can report the Spicy Quarter Pounder is absolutely delicious.”
Another agreed: “Loving the Spicy Quarter Pounder. It needs to stay.”
And a third added: “Spicy Quarter Pounder filled a hole in my life I never knew was there.”
If you can't handle an entry level of spice, guys, maybe go for a burger without 'spice' in the name next time.
