McDonald’s fans might be wondering if they’ll be able to tuck into their favourite Big Mac over the May bank holiday weekend.
The early May bank holiday falls this Monday (May 1) meaning a long three-day weekend for millions of workers.
But what does this mean for McDonald’s restaurants? Will they remain open?
McDonald’s has more than 1,270 restaurants in the UK.
To be absolutely sure of the opening times of your local store, you should use the McDonald's restaurant finder tool online.
Approximately 1,100 of McDonald's restaurants in the UK are franchised, which means they are able to choose their own hours.
This also means opening times vary across the country and there are no standard opening hours.
McDonald's May bank holiday weekend opening times
To give you a rough idea of opening times, The Mirror has checked several locations across the UK.
Many locations will be open over the whole bank holiday weekend.
For example, the McDonald’s in Holloway Road in London is open 24 hours and will remain open like this over the weekend.
However, you may find a handful will stay shut on Monday, or they may have shorter opening hours.
McDonald's latest menu change
McDonald's has just shaken up its menu with new additions - and a fan favourite has returned for a limited time.
The Chicken Big Mac is once again available to order following huge demand last year, when it sold out in under ten days.
If you didn't get to try it last time, the Chicken Big Mac is a triple-layered bun with the two chicken breast patties in a crispy coating, a slice of cheese, lettuce, pickles, and Big Mac sauce.
A single burger costs £4.49 for a single burger, or £6.09 for a medium meal, although prices do vary.
Joining the Chicken Big Mac is the new Steakhouse Stack, made up of two beef patties, a slice of cheddar cheese, crispy onions, red onions, and lettuce topped with a creamy peppercorn sauce.
This is priced at £5.39 for a single burger, or £6.99 for a medium meal.
Other new menu additions include the return of the Creme Egg McFlurry (£1.99 for a standard size, or £1.49 for a mini) and mozzarella dippers (£2.19 for a regular box, or £6.19 for a sharebox).
