McDonald's is trialling a new Crispy McFillet burger - aimed at chicken lovers who want their burgers "crispier and crunchier". The new launch will initially be available in a limited number of restaurants.
According to McDonald's, the Crispy McFillet features a 100% chicken breast fillet with "crunch and subtle heat". It is topped with a peppery mayo with a hint of truffle and fresh, iceberg lettuce.
McDonald's says: "The insta-worthy sourdough-style sesame bun is McDonald’s softest and most aesthetically pleasing yet." The burger will be available during its trial period at selected McDonalds restaurants across the West Midlands and Ireland from Wednesday (March 30).
McDonald’s chief marketing officer for the UK and Ireland, Michelle Graham-Clare, said: “We know how much our customers love our iconic chicken menu items, so we’ve taken our time to get the Crispy McFillet packed with flavour, to really satisfy our customers. We really believe this newest addition to our menu is the tastiest chicken burger in the UK and Ireland and we cannot wait to hear what our customers in the Midlands think of it.”
The new burger will cost £4.19 or £5.59 for a Crispy McFillet meal. It will be available from 41 restaurants during the trial.
