McDonald's issues menu update to customers

McDonald's has issued a menu update to its customers. From May 10, the chain's menu will look different.

They will be overhauled, with some old favourites and some exciting new additions. It's especially good news for chicken nugget fans, as some tasty sauces are being added to celebrate 40 years of the McNugget.

The popular Big Tasty will be making a comeback - with a new spicy variety for people to get their teeth into. For those who prefer something sweet, some new McFlurries are also set to appear.

Fans will be able to get their hands on the new Spicy Big Tasty from May 10, which combines the classic Big Tasty burger with a fiery kick. The burger contains one 100% beef patty, as well as Emmental cheese, lettuce, bacon, tomato and the brand's much-loved Big Tasty sauce, which has been updated with a jalapeno twist.

And for those that aren't keen on spice, the new menu will also see the return of the classic Big Tasty, as well as the Big Tasty with Bacon. But the Spicy Big Tasty isn't the only new addition to the menu, as from May 10 you'll also be able to get your hands on some brand new dipping sauces, which have been released to mark the 40th birthday of the iconic McNugget

There are four new limited edition dips in total and they've been split into two releases - with the Mega Hot Sauce dip and the highly anticipated Garlic Mayo dip both dropping on May 10, followed by a later release of the Chipotle Mayo dip and the Creamy Ranch dip on May 31. If you're not in the mood to dip McNuggets into the new sauces, then worry not, as there's one fan-favourite snack set to return with a bang - the crispy Halloumi fries.

Finishing off the new menu are two new McFlurry flavours that you can use to cool your tastebuds after tucking into one of the new spicy burgers, reports the Mirror. The Wispa McFlurry will return this month, or if you want to take your ice cream to the next level, you can also tuck into the new Wispa Gold McFlurry, which will be topped with a Cadbury caramel sauce.
