McDonald’s is bringing back its McSpicy burger - and taking some favourites OFF the menu

McDonald’s is bringing back its McSpicy burger next week as part of its latest menu shake-up.

The fan favourite features a spicy chicken breast fillet topped with lettuce and mayo between toasted sesame seed bun.

Maccies customers will be able to tuck into a McSpicy from next Wednesday (April 27) for a six-week run only. This means you only have until June 6 to try it.

The McSpicy, which was last on the McDonald’s menu in July 2021, costs £4.29 for just a burger, or £5.79 for a medium meal. Keep in mind prices will vary across the country.

McDonald’s is also bringing back the Grand Big Mac as part of its latest menu upgrade. The Grand Big Mac comes with the same ingredients as a regular Big Mac, but in a bigger size.

It costs £4.79 just for a Grand Big Mac burger, or £6.29 for a medium meal. If you go for the Grand Big Mac with Bacon, you’ll pay £5.29 for just the burger, or £6.69 for a medium meal.

McDonald’s diners will also be able to tuck into Cheesy Garlic Bites for £1.99 from next week.

As for dessert, the fast food chain is bringing back its Flake Raspberry and Flake Chocolate McFlurries, prices at 99p for a mini size of £1.39 for a regular.

But the new menu additions does mean Maccies customers will have to say goodbye to some fan favourites.

The Big Tasty will only be available until this Tuesday (April 26) along with its other flavours The Big Tasty with Bacon and The Big Tasty BBQ.

The Big Tasty is made with a 100% beef patty, cheese made with Emmental cheese, onions, tomatoes and a "unique smoky flavoured" sauce all nested in a freshly toasted bun.

McDonald's will also get rid of the Homestyle Crispy Chicken burger, Chilli Cheese Bites and the Creme Egg McFlurry and Cadbury Caramel McFlurry.

Maccies has around 1,200 restaurants in the UK and Ireland. You can use its restaurant locator tool online to find your nearest branch.

In other McDonald's news, the fast food chain has just launched a new Crispy McFillet burger in just 50 restaurants.

The new burger features crispy coated chicken breast fillet, iceberg lettuce and black pepper mayo in a sourdough-style bun.

It costs £4.19 for just the Crispy McFillet on its own, or £5.59 for a medium meal.

The burger is only available for a limited time but if all goes well during the trial period, it's thought the Crispy McFillet could become a permanent item on the McDonald's menu nationwide.
