Fast food franchise McDonald's has found itself the talk of the UK over one of its new burgers - the Italian Stack.
The new range hit stores across the UK and Ireland last week as part of the retailer's new and improved summer menu.
The Italian Stack itself is made up of two layers of 100 per cent beef patties, mozzarella, onions, crispy onions, rich tomato sauce, lettuce and a smooth cheese sauce - all served up in a toasted basil and tomato flavoured bun.

The new and exciting burger which is described as tasting of 'lasagne' is also joined by the Crispy Chicken Italiano Burger - a chicken fillet topped with a juicy tomato, mozarella, red onion and lettuce, lashed with drippings of a basil and pesto style sauce.
And many fans have taken to social media since the product launch to praise the new menu items, after rushing to their local outlet to try a fresh taste. Many of whom particularly complimenting Maccies' take on the Italiano, with some calling it "great", "yummy" and saying they score a "big fat yes".
However, the MEN reports that others have vented their complaints on Facebook and Twitter - outraged at a flaw in the new selection.
The fact that the McSpicy appears to have been taken off the menu, replaced by these burgers doesn't sit right with a few unhappy punters. One person tweeted: "McDonald's please bring back the McSpicy. Took away one of life's joys," while another, wrote: "McDonald's don't have the McSpicy anymore."
Someone else admitted they were "fuming" over the change, saying: "Why the hell have McDonald's stopped selling the McSpicy already when today is supposed to be the last day. Fuming."
A fourth proclaimed: "McDonald's have no business removing the McSpicy and garlic cheese bites from the menu. That was the best combo I've ever tasted man."
"Beyond emotional finding out McDonald's have taken away the McSpicy," posted a different user, with another adding: "Absolutely beyond devastated to discover the McSpicy has gone from McDonald's."
Replying to a tweet asking them to bring the McSpicy back, the official McDonald's UK account said: "Here at McDonald's we are always interested in customer suggestions and feedback. At the moment we don't have plans to reintroduce the McSpicy. However, I will pass your feedback on to the team."
Manchester Evening News has contacted McDonald's for further comment.
