The new drive-thru McDonald’s in Bradley Stoke has halted plans for a 24-hour Drive-Thru at Willow Brook shopping centre despite winning council approval. This comes after objections from residents and councillors citing concerns around noise, litter, smells and antisocial behaviour.
A McDonald’s spokesperson told Bristol Live: “Our new restaurant in Bradley Stoke is currently open from 6 am until 10 pm each day. We are keeping our opening hours under review and may open 24 / 7 in the future.”
The fast-food giant, which forms part of a wider approved development, was granted permission by South Gloucestershire Council licensing sub-committee to serve hot food and hot drinks around the clock after hearing none of the authorities, including the police, environmental health and trading standards, had any concerns.
