Although food at the McDonald's is pretty low cost, we're never going to say no to it being even cheaper.
And according to MoneySavingExpert there are several 'hacks' that diners can use when ordering their favourite fast food at McDonald's - and who doesn't like getting a good deal on their lunch?
From assembling your own Big Macs to lesser known deals, they've rounded up the best ways to bag a bargain at Maccy D's.
Save more than £2 off your 'McChicken Sandwich'
Diners can save £2.20 on a McDonald’s chicken burger by ditching the £3.19 McChicken Sandwich in favour of a Mayo Chicken for just 99p.
If it's a chicken burger you're after, they both pretty much do the same job.
While the Mayo Chicken actually weighs less, both burgers have the exact same ingredients. And if you think one won't fill you up, you could even eat two or three of the burgers and still part with less cash.
Save £1.70 off a DIY Big Mac
If you fancy a Big Mac for lunch there is a way to save almost £2 by creating your own version.
Instead of ordering a £3.19 Big Mac, order a £1.49 Double Cheeseburger and add the following free extras to have the ingredients of a Big Mac: shredded lettuce, onions, pickles, mustard and mayonnaise (for a makeshift Big Mac sauce).
All the add on extras are free, so although it won't be the exact same as a Big Mac it'll certainly be close as well as more than 50 per cent cheaper than the original.
Pay £1.59 less for 8 more nuggets
Pick up two boxes of six Chicken McNuggets for £3.19 each and you'll be paying £6.38 for 12 chicken nuggets.
However, if you instead take the plunge and buy a McNuggets ShareBox of 20 nuggets, you will get an extra eight nuggets and actually end up paying £1.59 less.
This particularly works well if the group you're eating with wants two or more McNugget meals. This is because ordering the ShareBox, fries and drinks also separately gets you more for less.
Get £2.50 off a Burger King-style burger at McDonald's
You can make copycat of a £4.39 Burger King Bacon Double Cheeseburger at McDonald’s - and save money in the process.
To do it, order a £1.49 Double Cheeseburger and add bacon for an extra 40p, bringing your total to £1.89 – a 'whopping' 57 per cent cheaper than the real deal.
