McDonald's lovers have been sent into a frenzy after spotting that a new popular side has returned to the UK menu.
Popular foodie page NewFoodsUK has over 250k followers, and likes to keep everyone up to date on the new food items in supermarkets, restaurants and fast food chains. Recently, the Facebook page shared some exciting news for McDonald's fans, and the post soon racked up over 1k likes within a day.
The popular side due to make a return are the 'Nacho Cheese Wedges', described as cheese wedges filled with spicy Jalapeno slices served with sour cream & chive dip. Sharing an image of the popular side, many McDonald's fans were left feeling over the moon with the news.

The NewFoodsUK post read: "Nacho Cheese Wedges are finally back at McDonald's [cheese emoji]." McDonald's fans were quick to share their excitement on the comment section.
One comment read: "My life is complete [crying emoji] I LOVE these! [love heart eye emoji]." A second said: "Trussssss me I’ve been waiting and always asking when there coming back!! Think I need to order some tonight!!!!"
A third McDonald's fan tagged their friend and said: "Look how glorious they are! [love heart eye emoji]." A fourth added: "Ohh can't wait for some of these!"
After a big menu shake up, the BBQ Bacon Stack has also returned after being axed from the menu in July last year. McDonald's removed the Big Tasty Burger, the Chicken Legend and replaced the burgers with the new McCrispy.
McDonald's fans will have be quick as the new items are only on the menu for the next six weeks, apart from the McCrispy which is a permanent item. The Nacho Cheese Wedges cost £2.29 for a portion of five, which is 213 kcal, or £5.99 for a sharebox, which is 639 kcal.
