When ordering a McDonald's, there are always plenty of options for customers as the menu changes all the time.
Whether you love nuggets, burgers or plant-based offerings, there's something for everyone - whether it's your go-to order or you fancy trying something different.
And while most people are fine to take their order as it is, fussy eaters may have to make some requests so that their meal is to their taste.
One McDonald's employee has told of the "most annoying" thing that customers do or ask for, which massively inconveniences staff members. TikTok user @sineadpoyser captioned the video: "Lol if you’ve worked in Maccies you know the frustration", the Mirror reports.
During the video, she role-played a McDonald's customer and two members of staff. The video starts with the 'customer' asking for a Chicken Mayo and a portion of medium fries 'with no salt, no salt whatsoever please, when I say no salt, I do not want any salt on my chips at all please'.
Sinead then replied that that was fine, whilst shouting to her 'colleague' that she wanted a portion of medium fries with no salt.
The 'colleague' then starts to rant, asking Sinead whether she's joking because they have to scrub the whole compartment out just for one order. Then they say they're 'done' thanks to the customers' fussy taste.
The nail in the coffin though was when the 'customer' asked for sachets of salt and pepper to go along with their order.
The McDonald’s worker that has just scrubbed the compartment out to make fries with no salt shouts: "Hold up, did I just hear that right? You want salt?"
Other McDonald's workers could relate to Sinead's frustration, as they flocked to the comments section on the playful video.
One wrote: "And this is why I quit after four months! Some of the most annoying customers I’ve ever encountered! I did love the headset though haha."
Another shared their branches hack for the unusual request, commenting: "My managers hated wasting time so we’d put a tray in the fry station for the no salt and used the spare scoop", followed by a crying with laughter face.
"Hated when customers did this", another quipped.
