One McDonald’s customer received a McDonald's breakfast order from hell after stopping off at a motorway service station for some food.
Twitter user @Tommos_16 from Liverpool, explained he decided to take a detour on his journey to the fast food chain on the M58, reports My London.
He ordered a Double Sausage and Egg McMuffin but when he drove off with the goods and opened up the McDonald's bag, to his horror had been given a paper bag full of salt sachets. @Tommos_16 however made light of the situation tweeting: “Early one this morning, thought I’d get a little Maccies by way of sustenance.

“Imagine my joy, upon joining the M58 and setting off upon my way, to find that instead of a Double Sausage and Egg McMuffin I had instead been furnished with a bag of salt. What a treat @McDonalds.”
He then followed up his initial tweet in a thread, first saying, “One normal day it’s all I’m after,” followed by “Had to count it. 315 sachets of salt hahahaha”. The tweet has since received nearly half a million views on Twitter.
Many people on Twitter were quick to comment on this disastrous order, saying they too have experienced receiving wrong orders from McDonald’s but not quite like this. One user responded to the tweet saying: “This is my favourite tweet of all time. Ever.”
While a second said: “Scrolling down the comments to check if you'd had a reply from @McDonaldsUK and McNuffin! Disgraceful.” A third added: “Probably less salt than in the McMuffin.”
McDonald's were approached for comment.
