McDonald's Crispy McFillet: Where can you buy the new burger and how long is it around?

McDonald's has announced a brand new burger. Called the Crispy McFillet, the menu product is made with chicken breast fillet in a crispy coating, topped with cool iceberg lettuce and comes a peppery mayo and a hint of truffle in a sourdough-style sesame bun.

The fast-food chain confirmed the Crispy McFillet would be available in UK restaurants from Wednesday, March 30, but unfortunately, the burger won't be available in all branches. McDonald's is only rolling it out as a sales test in 50 restaurants, picking 41 restaurants across the Midlands as well as a further nine in Ireland.

The crispier, crunchier burger, which can be picked up for £5.59 at selected restaurants, will only be available for a limited time period but if all goes well during the trial period, it's thought the Crispy McFillet could become a permanent item.

Chief Marketing Officer at McDonald's UK&I, Michelle Graham-Clare, said: "We know how much our customers love our iconic chicken menu items, so we’ve taken our time to get the Crispy McFillet packed with flavour, to really satisfy our customers. We really believe this newest addition to our menu is the tastiest chicken burger in the UK and Ireland and we cannot wait to hear what our customers in the Midlands think of it."
