McDonald’s, Burger King and KFC opening and closing times over Easter

McDonald’s, Burger King and KFC could have slightly different opening times over the course of the coming weekend.

The Easter bank holiday weekend gives you all a chance to let your hair down a bit, with some great weather expected.

Trips to the beach, garden barbecues and family gatherings are all part of the long four-day weekend and some of us will enjoy the chance to pop along for a fast-food meal at some point.

Some may view this coming weekend as the chance to indulge in their favourite takeaway treats a way from supermarket food, but should be careful of the opening times of their favourite fast-food restaurants.

Not all stores will definitely be open though and there are ways you can check if your local restaurant is open.

Even with two bank holidays on Good Friday and Easter Monday, McDonald's restaurants should be operating as normal over the weekend.

Opening times vary store by store and some restaurants open for 24 hours. Others often open from 6am until 12am, or from 7am until 11pm.

It means that long drives to the beach should still see a welcome roadside treat still available after a long ordeal stuck in traffic queues.

Opening times vary by restaurant, though, and some may choose to operate with reduced hours over the bank holiday weekend.

The best way of checking McDonald's opening hours is by looking at your local branch's opening hours on the McDonald's website here.

Delivery services should also be available, but this depends on each store's opening hours.

There is a range of offers and Easter-specific food for customers to enjoy, including the Creme Egg McFlurry and the Cadbury Caramel McFlurry.

  • 49p cheeseburger which normally costs 99p
  • 99p Creme Egg McFlurry which normally costs £1.39
  • 99p Filet-O-Fish which normally costs £3.19
  • £1.49 three-piece chicken selects which normally cost £3.29
  • 99p six chicken nuggets which normally cost £4.09
  • 99p Triple cheeseburger which normally costs £2.39
  • 49p Chicken Mayo which normally costs 99p
  • 99p Quarter Pounder with cheese which normally costs £4.99
  • 49p Hamburger which normally costs 99p
  • £1.49 Spicy Veggie Wrap which normally costs £1.99

KFC

For all things chicken this Easter weekend, KFC should be operating normally this weekend.

KFC opening times can from store to store, but the regular opening times of most KFC establishments are from Monday to Friday 10:30am until 11pm, opening half an hour later on Sundays.

You can check to see if your favourite KFC meals are available over the weekend on the KFC website here, as opening times can vary from store to store.

The UK's fourth most popular fast-food chain Burger King will be open this weekend.

Burger King stores commonly operate from 8am until 10:30pm, with breakfast hours from 8am until 11am. City restaurants in particular can close much later.

However, stores are individually owned and can decide to close so it is worth checking if your local is still open using the Burger King store locator.

The home of the Whopper has brought back one of their customer favourites in time for Easter, with the return of the halloumi fries. The fries will be served as either a six-piece or nine-piece and come served with a signature sweet chilli sauce dip.

They are now available at £3.79 for six pieces, and £4.69 for nine pieces, though you can't get them on delivery.

Stores like Greggs, Costa Coffee and Pizza Hut should all be open over Easter.

Generally speaking, most stores operate individually and may choose to close or have reduced opening hours. You should check online to see if the local fast-food restaurant of your choice is open.

The list of some of the more popular restaurants operating like this is as follows:

  • Greggs
