The McDonald's UK Breakfast Bus will be stopping off in Nottingham on its nationwide tour, serving free McMuffins - but there a catch. It's only for freshers starting at Nottingham Trent University.
The bus will be at the university on Monday October 17, getting the week off to a flying start for the new students, from 11am. Free McMuffins with either egg and cheese, or bacon, egg and cheese, plus Coke Zero samples will be handed out.
But they will need to be quick as there is only 2,000 up for grabs and once they’re gone, they’re gone. The first 100 students who attend the van will also receive free McDonald’s merchandise.

With bellies full, McDonald’s with LitterLotto will encourage students to keep their new home towns clean and take part in local litter picks. Universities on the tour, which also include Sheffield, Leeds, Cardiff and Birmingham will be added to a league table for the chance to be crowned the ‘Cleanest Student City or Town’.
And if having the best kept community wasn’t enough of a prize, one lucky student from the ‘Cleanest Student City or Town’ will win an exclusive DJ set from Chris Stark on board the McDonald’s food van.
To enter download the LitterLotto App and upload a photo of yourself binning a piece of litter on campus between 10am-10pm on the day of the breakfast van visit to earn points towards the city's total. Entries uploaded outside of those hours will not be entered. The winner will be announced w/c October 24.
