A new branch of McDonald's, set to open after summer, is already looking to recruit staff. The newest addition to the fast food chain's franchises will be in Bradley Stoke and they are offering full and part time roles.
The job ad, which is looking for crew members, says set or flexible hours are available as well as shift premium when staff work between 12am and 6am as the new McDonald's will be open 24 hours. Other benefits include free staff meals and employee discounts.
It is not the only new business to be opening at Willow Brook, Bradley Stoke. A Starbucks is being built right next door as well. The plans were not met entirely met with approval by local residents who expressed concern about increased litter, increased traffic and less parking plus the fact the fast food chain will be so close to schools.

The plans were eventually approved though and both McDonald's and Starbucks are planning on opening their doors, and their drive-thrus, sometime in September 2022. In the meantime new starters will be trained up at the Cribbs Causeway branch.
The job ad, which is for full and part-tome crew members, reads: "You'll need to be confident in approaching and dealing with diverse groups of people. Friendly, courteous and helpful behaviour will come naturally to you and you'll work well as part of a team. Effective communication skills such as attentive listening, face-to-face verbal communication and eye contact are a must."
There are also roles for customer care assistants which involves being the "face of the restaurant". The ad for this role reads: "Activities include making children feel welcome, handing out balloons, looking after customers' specific needs, keeping high standards of cleanliness in the dining area and toilets and helping to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere."
