Mazda MX-5. Mazda

Mazda has increased the retail pricing for its MX-5 roadster in Thailand by 7,000 baht for the 2023 model year.

Both the MX-5 RF manual and automatic are now priced at 2,912,000 baht and are available with a new body colour -- Zircon Sand.

The MX-5 is powered by a high-revving Skyactiv-G 2.0-litre engine developing 184hp at 7,000rpm and 205Nm of torque at 4,000rpm.

The MX-5 also comes with Kinematic Posture Control (KPC) which is part of the Skyactiv-Vehicle Dynamics package. According to Mazda, the system "provides a more integrated and stable turning posture when cornering by generating an 'anti-lift' force at the inner rear wheel to pull the vehicle's body down when cornering".

Standard features include an electrically-powered retractable hardtop, 17-inch black metallic alloy wheels, adaptive LED projector headlamps, perforated leather seats, a 7-inch centre display, BOSE premium sound system, Apple CarPlay and Mazda Connect.
