Britain's former headquarters for fashion giant Gucci has gone on the market, quickly becoming London's most viewed property on Rightmove, the site has revealed.
But while thousands have viewed the opulent Mayfair mansion online, viewings in real life are only accessible to the very few.
Looking at the pictures from inside, it's not hard to see why. The Victorian property is the last remaining privately owned home on exclusive Grafton Street and boasts its own cinema, pool and gym.
Spread across seven floors with four main bedrooms and its own 'staff quarters', anyone who lives here can be guaranteed to live the epitome of luxury, much like the brand it is most associated with.
The Grade-I listed mansion is decked throughout with plush carpets, marble and palatial ceilings. Already dripping in chandeliers, the mansion's hallway is fitted with a magnificent hanging light fixture welcoming visitors with a golden glow.
And seeing as whoever lives here can probably afford their own private chef too, the kitchen comes equipped for just that.
Other impressive features include its own lift, a large double garage, two terraces and a sauna, reports My London.
Number 5, Grafton Street's history goes back to 1769, when it was built by Edward Gray and architect Sir Robert Taylor. Guests over the years have included Queen Victoria and the first Duke of Wellington, but that's not what it's most well-known for.
In 1998, Gucci relocated to London from Milan where, three years earlier, Maurizio Gucci was shot dead by ex-wife Patrizia – a global shock event last year dramatised on the big screen in House of Gucci.
Just a stone's throw from the brand's Bond Street store, the house became the base of then-creative director Tom Ford, and counted Alexander McQueen and Anna Wintour as its guests.
Gucci later relocated its base to Switzerland in 2010, and the building was converted back into a luxury home.
Although a pipe dream for many, that hasn't stopped people taking a peek online. Hoards of viewers checked it out on Rightmove last month, propelling the listing to London's most viewed online throughout July.
Rightmove’s Housing Expert, Tim Bannister, said: “People across Great Britain have been looking at some truly stunning homes this month, thinking of where they could live if money was no object.
"Being very close to the water is clearly important to those browsing for their dream home, with three of the five most viewed homes this month having private access to the sea.”
