Locals were left in stitches after a car was reversed into a trolley bay instead of a parking space. As reported by the Daily Record, the red Volkswagen was kept dry from the rain at least after being parked up at the supermarket on Tuesday.
One shopper, parked facing the motor at the Fraserburgh store in Aberdeenshire, took a picture and posted it to social media. "New type of trolly at Asda", they wrote which was followed by a number of laughing emojis.
One person quickly replied: “Keeps the rain off. If only my big wagon fitted in these cosy wee shelters – wouldn’t get soaked getting the kids out.” Another joked: “Do you still need a pound coin?”
Residents came to their own conclusions as to what had happened. One suggested what the driver really needed was to make a second trip - to an opticians.
Another suggested: while another suggested the the driver “Should have gone to Specsavers”, they said. While another asked: "Maybe a leaky roof?”
