Love Island host Maya Jama has teased the highly anticipated Casa Amor recoupling could be sooner than anticipated, as she was seen jetting back to South Africa.
The freshly minted face of Love Island posted a short video from her seat on the airplane as she partied on board with pals.
The clip has now left Love Island fans convinced Maya is making a return to the villa, as she captioned the post: “Gone again,” alongside an airplane emoji.
Maya looked relaxed for her long haul flight wearing a black tracksuit following a whirlwind weekend that saw her presenting backstage at the Brit Awards on Saturday night, before she helmed another live instalment of Love Island’s spin-off show Aftersun.
The 28-year-old seemingly let slip her plans to return to the villa during the live broadcast of the Brit Awards, as she spoke with host Mo Gilligan on the night.
Maya looked momentarily nervous over whether she was allowed to give the information away, as she said she was heading back to South Africa on Monday, leading fans to speculate there would be a recoupling.
The Casa Amor chaos is already well underway as both the new boys and new girls have entered the villas to meet the original cast members.
The ITV2 show aired the first full episode from Casa Amor on Monday evening, as the new bombshell arrivals joined their counterparts in the various villas.
It wasn’t long before connections started to form between both the original cast and the bombshells looking for love, as multiple villa favourites appeared to turn their heads for the new Islanders.
This year’s Casa Amor line-up ranges from a female baker from north London to a steel erector from Nottingham who is “repping for the gingers”.
An Irish lothario who is good pals with Love Island 2022 contestant Dami Hope will also join the 2023 cast.
And one new girl has a famous ex in English singer Conor Maynard, who has penned more than one song about her since they split.
A professional boxer, social worker, finance student and a beauty buyer who lives in Dubai also make up this year’s cast.
When the Casa Amor recoupling does come around, each of the original Islanders will have to choose whether to stick with their initial partner or twist to a bombshell.
Love Island returns to ITV2 at 9pm tomorrow night and is available to stream on ITVX.
