Maya Jama's striking similarities with her mum showcased as she shares new snaps

Maya Jama's fans were shocked at the stunning similarities between the star and her mum as the presenter shared snaps to Instagram on Thursday.

The 26-year-old shared a clip of her lookalike mum alongside the caption "Mum's here".

Her youthful looking mum, 44, joined her on set in her hometown of Bristol as the presenter filmed new material with YouTuber Chunkz.

It's not the first time fans have been treated to mum Sadie on set with her daughter after she previously appeared alongside Maya in All Round To Mrs Brown’s Boys.

But her striking resemblance to her famous daughter once again had fans talking.

Maya has admitted the duo are often mistaken for sisters, adding: "All my boyfriends and friends that were guys fancied her."

Earlier in the year the Crouchy's Year Late Euros star showed off her lookalike mum's stunning figure as she posed on a beach in a bikini on her Instagram Stories.

And speaking about their relationship, Maya previously said: "She had me at 18, so our relationship was a bit different. I rebelled less because I was quite free.

"My mum's always been like, 'I want you to have your experiences — just tell me. I’m not going to judge you or shout at you.'"

But she confessed: "She’s banned from my parties though. She gets too drunk."

In an interview with Marie Claire in April, Maya described how growing up without her father present wasn't something that made her sit home and cry.

The TV presenter's dad spent much of her childhood in and out of prison for a string of different convictions and Maya said that she would often make a joke out of any sadness at that time in her life.

She said: "Anything that seems tragic or could make people feel sorry for me, I make a joke out of. I guess it's because I'm OK with it. I've accepted it and I don't want you making me feel like you're sorry for me.

"If people said, 'Where's your dad?' I'd say, 'Oh, he's in jail' and I'd laugh about it. It wasn't something I sat at home and cried about."
