Love Island presenter Maya Jama has denied rumours that she and ex-boyfriend Stormzy have rekindled their relationship. Maya, who split from NBA star fiancé Ben Simmons, dated the rapper for a number of years before they decided to call it quits in 2019.
The pair both attended the GQ Men of the Year 2022 awards in London this week where sources claim they saw the couple chatting in a quiet corner before leaving moments apart. However, despite rumours suggesting that the pair are back together, Maya's team has confirmed that they're not romantically involved, the Mirror reports.
Speaking to The Sun, one insider did say: "Stormzy and Maya are together again. They’re taking it slow but are very much back in each other’s lives after a long time when they didn’t speak or see each other.”

A second source at the party said: “They spent loads of time together at the afterparty and were chatting in a corner for ages. It seemed as though they went somewhere else together afterwards because she walked out and then he followed her out five minutes later.”
But representatives for Bristol-born Maya have confirmed that the dating rumours are incorrect.
Stormzy says 'devastating' Maya Jama split made him realise he 'was a boy'
After previously remaining tight-lipped, Stormzy has opened up about his split from Maya Jama for the second time in a few weeks. The Vossi Bop rapper, who split from Bristolian Love Island presenter Maya in 2019 after four years of dating, has revealed that he made the decision to change who he was as a person after the break up, which made him realise he 'was a boy'.
The revelation comes after the former flames have been spotted at a number of the same events in the last few weeks, including the 'Black Panther: Wakanda Forever' premiere, the MTV Europe Music Awards, and a Kendrick Lamar concert. Whilst Maya has not divulged any details of their split three years ago, Stormzy has now shed some light on the situation.
