Maya Jama has squashed recent rumours that she is dating Hollywood actor Leonardo DiCaprio despite being pictured wearing a 'Leo' necklace.
The Love Island host took to social media to brand the rampant rumours 'silly' and went on to explain the true meaning behind her necklace - simply that 'Leo' is her star sign.
Speaking to her 697,000 followers, she wrote: "I’ve been minding my business on holiday & said I wouldn’t respond/pay attention to any of the silly stories anymore but you need to stop now, that is literally my star sign. We are not dating. Move on please."
It comes amid reports that the 28-year-old star was secretly dating Hollywood superstar Leonardo DiCaprio, 48, after parting with him in London in February and spending time with him last month in New York.
According to the Sun, the Wolf of Wall Street star sent Maya roses as a romantic gesture after being introduced by mutual friends.
However, last week Leonardo DiCaprio shut down rumours that he is dating Maya Jama.
On Tuesday, the newly appointed Rimmel ambassador wrote: "They been dragging the story for the past week this was my last straw" in reference to the rumours.
The rumours started after Maya called off her engagement to former fiancé Ben Simmons last August.
They had been dating for a year but Maya and Australian basketball player Ben, 26, were said to be struggling with their conflicting schedules.
