Maya Jama prepares for the BRITs with burger and fries after luxury Dubai getaway

Maya Jama has just returned from a whirlwind getaway in Dubai with her close friends, but she's straight back to work ahead of the 2023 BRIT Awards on Saturday.

The Love Island host, 28, took to her stories on Friday to share a glimpse of the behind-the-scenes goings-on as she tucked into a delicious-looking beef burger and fries as she told her besotted fans that she has yet to choose an outfit for the star-studded awards night.

The stunning TV presenter had just landed in the UK before she headed off to prepare for her part in the Brits, which will see mega popstar and grammy-award-winner Harry Styles give the performance of his life, after winning Album Of The Year.

Last week, Maya left fans curious as they pondered where the Love Island star was off to when she shared a cryptic post stating that she was taking a brief break from her work duties, to live it up with her close friends.

"Me and the girlies are off. I had about four days off and I thought, 'F*** it, let's go on holiday," Maya told her followers.

It comes as everyone is obsessed with Maya - and the latest viewing figures for Love Island Aftersun prove it.

Ever since the 28-year-old Bristolian star was announced as the new Love Island host, excitement has surrounded the new Winter series of the ITV2 dating show, and it's all thanks to Maya.

So much so that more viewers tuned in to the first Aftersun episode than the main show as admirers of Maya were buzzed to see the new host present the live show for the very first time.

Ratings showed the main episode of the ITV2 dating show was watched by a peak 1.51 million viewers.

However, a whopping 1.82 million tuned into the spin-off, which shows a lot more of Maya's personality and natural presenting skills.

The rating figures are further proof the magnetic new host remains the franchise's biggest draw this series.

Lifting the lid on Maya's record-breaking Aftersun debut, an ITV source told The Sun: "Spinoffs are not meant to be the main event. Maya is shot in the arm Love Island needs."
