Fans have branded Maya Jama the new ‘Queen of TV’ as she was announced as the next host of Love Island.
The 28-year-old will take over presenting duties on the ITV2 dating show from January when the winter series starts filming in South Africa.
It comes after Laura Whitmore confirmed she was stepping down from the role to pursue other projects.
Confirming the news on her Instagram page in a joint post with the official Love Island account, Maya uploaded a video of herself scrolling through her phone which panned out to reveal a suitcase.
The Love Island theme tune could also be heard playing in the background as she flashed a beaming smile at the camera.
