Maya Jama doesn't diet or work out - she loves Bristol kebabs

Maya Jama has won over the nation’s hearts since signing on as the newest host and she's been strutting out every single week looking drop-dead gorgeous. It's easy to believe the Bristol-born star has a well-planned diet when you see her figure rock every outfit.

She has acknowledged that she "eats terribly," but she is one of the fortunate people whose fast metabolism is to thank when it comes to her figure. Maya previously shared an honest tweet about what her diet is actually like, admitting that she "eats terribly".

The Love Island host said: "Never one to sell dreams I get messages asking about diet etc if you follow me properly you will know I eat terribly and don't work out."

"I am slim because of my genetics/metabolism," she added, reminding fans not to make assumptions based on photos they see online.

However, successful 28-year-old presenters can’t escape the clutches of a hangover. Everyone needs their go-to hangover cure and she has revealed her favourite spot is in her home town.

Maya previously told Twisted Food that the more grease the better. "I’m quite unhealthy in general. But, on a hangover... you need the grease and the breads and the butters," she said.

"My favourite ever hangover meal is a posh chicken shish kebab because it reminds me of when I first ever started drinking and I lived in Bristol. We’d go and do the walk home and go to a place called Rita’s, which is the best kebab in the world.

“It’s everything you need – lovely bit of bread, the chicken, garlic sauce, lettuce, I get it all in there. Except I’m not a fan of the gherkins. It just does the job. It ticks every box.”

Earlier last year Maya also had a starring role in an advert for McDonald's brand new chicken burger. The Bristolian presenter shared the new promo on her Instagram on Thursday 20 October 2022 adding that she felt "gassed" to be in a McDonald's advert.

On Instagram Maya said: "After years of @mcdonaldsuk loving they finally put me in the TV ad & it’s for the new #McCrispy burger of dreamsssss I am gassed."
