TV and radio presenter Maya Jama reminded fans of her Bristol roots during her latest TV appearance.
The presenter, 27, appeared on The John Bishop Show on Saturday night (January 29) alongside comedian Jason Manford.
And while she was there mainly to discuss her upcoming presenting duties at this year's BRIT Awards, she also touched on other aspects of her successful career and the question eventually asked about whether her 'accent' has ever held her back.

The TV presenter was born and raised in Bristol, but most fans will probably notice she is distinctly lacking a 'proper' Bristolian accent.
Host John Bishop even said that he didn't think Maya had much of an accent.
Asking her about whether she had ever been "limited" by her accent, he added: "I don’t think you really have one."
At which point Jason Manford chipped in to ask: "Where’s the Bristol accent gone?"
Maya responded by saying "no" she's never been limited because of her accent.
She added: "Everyone always asks that. I moved when I was 16 on my little dream chasers one, and I did used to [have an accent]."
Maya then went on to do an impression of the thick Bristol accent she used to have and how friends at college were a bit stumped as to where she was from.
She said: "I went to college only for about three weeks. I said "Alright guys how is it?
"And everyone was like ‘where the f*** is she from?
"They used to ask me if I had sheep in my garden, or if my mum plucks chickens and that kind of stuff because it was central London and everyone was like, oh, Bristol is a farm.
"I literally just tried to drop it out, slowly but surely it just faded out a bit but as soon as I go back I’m like, 'Alright me luvs, how’s it going then? I can’t be arsed with any of that'.
"It’s in and out, but I’ve lost it a bit."
The show's audience really enjoyed the segment , and there were roars of laughter when Maya started talking in an exaggerated Bristol accent.
Following her impression fellow chat show guest Jason said about the Bristol accent: "It’s quite a fine line between the farmer and the pirate isn’t it."
Her interview on the ITV show comes a week after the star shared a rare selfie with her 'fiancé' Ben Simmons on Instagram.
Maya reportedly got engaged to the basketball star in the United States over Christmas and has since been pictured sporting a huge diamond ring.
The pair reportedly got engaged in Simmons' New Jersey mansion in December, where she is rumoured to be relocating following the proposal.
She is yet to confirm the news, but her Instagram post suggests the pair are as loved-up as ever.
