Maya Jama has denied claims she and Stormzy are dating again following claims they had rekindled their romance.
The exes sent tongues wagging when they both attended at the GQ Men of the Year 2022 awards in London on Wednesday evening.
Sources at the glitzy event, which included guests such as Kit Connor and Sebastian Croft, John Boyega, Salma Hayek and Rochelle Humes, claimed they saw the couple chatting in a quiet corner before leaving moments apart.
But Maya's team confirmed exclusively to The Mirror the former couple are not romantically together, despite claims.
It comes after insiders claimed Maya, 28, and Stormzy, 29, chatted at the event held at Pavilion member's club in Knightsbridge.
Speaking to The Sun, a source said: "Stormzy and Maya are together again, they're taking it slow but are very much back in each other's lives after a long time when they didn't speak or see each other."
Meanwhile, a second said: "They spent loads of time together at the afterparty and were chatting in a corner for ages.
"It seemed as though they went somewhere else together afterwards because she walked out and then he followed her out five minutes later."
Representatives for Maya Jama have since denied the claims.
Newly single Maya recently split from NBA player Ben Simmons, after the pair had a "difficult time" due to their long-distance relationship.
The couple split in July of this year after getting engaged in December while she was visiting her beau in the States.
Stormzy and Maya who were once the hottest item in the showbiz industry dated for four years before they sensationally split back in 2019.
Last month, the grime legend whose real name is Michael Ebenezer Kwadjo Omari Owuo Jr opened up about his split from Maya which he described as his "biggest mistake".
Speaking to broadcaster Louis Theroux, he said: "My break-up, that was probably the biggest catalyst for growth as a man.
" It was like, OK, you made a mistake and you lose someone you loved, someone you cared for, someone who is special to you.
"That's probably the biggest loss a man can have, isn't it? Away from someone passing away, that's the biggest loss you can have."
Referring to the "whole f***ing palaver that surrounded that situation", he says that there were "other mistakes [he'd] made".
The star adds: "I didn't do what a man should do to fully appreciate love, and care for his woman."
Despite his heartbreak, Stormzy learnt some tough lessons and went on to say: "I learned that if I don't want to feel like that again, and if I believe that God will bless me again with an amazing woman and a family and marriage and all of that kind of thing, I have to do all the necessary work to never be in that situation again."
The Mirror has approached Stormzy's representatives for comment.
