Argentina prospect Maximo Perrone has been spotted training with his Manchester City teammates for the first time after his £8.2million transfer during the January window.
Perrone arrived at the Etihad Stadium from Velez Sarsfield via the South American Under-20 Championships. He was signed with one eye on the future, training with the first team initially before a decision was made on his future in the summer.
However, the 20-year-old has been included in their Champions League squad, which could indicate that he might be introduced to the fold sooner than expected. Perrone was certainly all smiles as he finally got down to business with star-studded company on the training ground in preparation for their next match.

Here are three other things we spotted during the session with Tottenham on the radar.
Foden back and ready for action
Phil Foden has not had as many minutes as he would have liked after returning from World Cup duty, through selection and then an injury setback. During his pre-match press conference, Pep Guardiola confirmed that the homegrown forward is available for the Tottenham game, though, while Foden lacing up his boots will come as welcome news to supporters hoping for a much-needed spark.
Bernardo eyes firmly on the prize
City allowed one Portugal international to leave on deadline day - with Joao Cancelo sealing a surprise move to Bayern Munich on loan - while there is mounting speculation over another. Despite one or two whispers, as there have been over the last few months, Bernardo Silva remains at the Etihad Stadium and with his eyes on the ball if these training snaps are anything to go by. Regardless of what happens in the summer, he will play a huge part if City are to get their hands on the biggest trophies this season.
Walker goes through the gears
Similarly to big-name teammates who have been a regular feature in recent seasons, Kyle Walker has not been a guaranteed pick during their mid-season stretch. When addressing why Cancelo was allowed to leave despite his own success, Guardiola hinted that different characters within his squad have different targets and ways to deal with finding themselves out of the team. When it comes to Walker, you would expect nothing but grit and unrivalled dedication to force his way back in.
