Driver
What Driver Does Max Homa Use?
Homa has immediately switched to the Cobra DS Adapt LS driver, which we found to be among the best drivers in our testing.
Featuring a somewhat triangular profile and near-blacked-out colorway, the DS Adapt LS is one of the most striking drivers on the market. Homa uses the 9˚ head at an exact base loft of 9.4˚, he then lofts that down to a playing loft of 8˚ using the new future-fit 33 sleeve from Cobra.
Homa chooses the Fujikura Ventus Velocore+ Blue shaft in 7-X and plays it at a length of 44.625".
Fairway
What Fairway Woods Does Max Homa Use?
Homa carries a number of TaylorMade Qi10 core fairway woods with him to tournaments before deciding what makes the final bag based on course conditions.
He has a 3-wood (15˚), a 5-wood (18˚), and a 7-wood (21˚). The 3 is fitted with a Fujikura Ventus Velocore+ Blue shaft in 8-X, and the 5 and 7 are fitted Ventus Black 9-X shafts.
The Taylormade Qi10 fairway has proved something of a phenomenon, with a huge uptake on tour from contracted and non-contracted players alike. It is one of the best fairway woods we have tried in recent years.
Irons
What Irons Does Max Homa Use?
Homa is using a mini combo set of Cobra irons this season. He starts off with a 4-iron in the Limit3d model which was released in very limited quantities last year, before dropping in a 5-iron in the Cobra King CB. From here, he is playing a tour-only, 3D-printed version of the Cobra King MB irons that has been made to look exactly like his previous gamer set of Titleist 620 MB irons.
All of the above are fitted with KBS $ Taper 130 X Flex shafts in the black PVD finish.
Wedges
What Wedges Does Max Homa Use?
This is a big area of change for Homa who has previously used what are widely regarded as some of the best wedges in golf, the Vokey SM10. He is now using Cobra wedges, including 50˚ and 56˚ in the Snakebite model, and a Cobra King Prototype in 60˚ with the very popular T-Grind.
He uses KBS Hi-Rev 2.0 135 X shafts in the 50˚ and 56˚, before switching to a lighter 125 S in the 60˚.
Putter
What Putter Does Max Homa Use?
Previously, Homa had been using a Scotty Cameron Phantom X 11.5 prototype putter. However, he has since gone to a Scotty Cameron Phantom X 5.5 Prototype. This is a big change as Homa had previously always used a blade putter. The reason he switched is that he said how he enjoys the weight and size of the mallet design, and the fact it sits really square.
Ball
What Ball Does Max Homa Use?
Homa has been using the Titleist Pro V1 for the whole of his professional career, with the Pro V1 ranking as one of the best golf balls on the market, as well as being the most used brand on the Tour. Providing consistent flight and control, it is the preferred choice of many of the top professionals and he uses the latest 2025 version.
