Max George's ex-girlfriend Stacey Giggs was reportedly 'fearful' of the infamous Strictly curse before he was pictured with Maisie Smith.
The Wanted singer, 33, met EastEnders star Maisie, 21, on Strictly Come Dancing and the two were recently seen getting cosy on a flight to Crete, fuelling rumours of a romance.
Max and Stacey, 42, split up not long before the holiday.
The singer and the ex-wife of footballer Ryan Giggs called time on their relationship for the second time just four months after reconciling from a previous split.
Pop star Max was first linked to ex WAG Stacey back in 2018 – when he moved in with the mum and her two children in Manchester.
According to a source, Max's new romance with Maisie will be a 'bitter pill for her to swallow'.
"Max and Stacey were together for years and to see him move on so quickly with another woman will break her heart," they said to The Sun.
"She was always fearful of the Strictly curse and now it’s struck – it’s like everything she feared has come true."
Mirror have contacted Stacey's reps for comment.
Max recently hit headlines after people spotted him and former soap star Maisie 'smooching' on a plane, with travellers claiming they were 'all over each other'.
A passenger told the publication: "They looked like a very loved-up couple — they were all over each other for the entire four-hour flight."
In 2020, when Max and Stacey were still together, the singer said he'd "never felt so strongly about anyone".

However, the couple briefly split up in March this year, before getting back together a month later with Stacey supporting Max at the funeral of his friend and bandmate Tom Parker after his tragic death from cancer.
Despite this, friends of the couple said they had parted ways once more earlier this month.
"Max and Stacey are no longer together. They had a great relationship but as time passed, they realised it wasn’t to be," a source told The Sun.
"They are both being very adult about it and it was as amicable a split could be. Max and Stacey only wish the best for each other going forwards."
