The futures of Mauricio Pochettino and Harry Kane are subject to scrutiny once again as the end of the season and the summer transfer window nears. The former Spurs manager has been linked with an exit from PSG this summer amid a disappointing Champions League exit but his next destination is unclear due to the recent arrival of Erik Ten Hag at Manchester United.
There have been some reports linking Pochettino with a return to Spurs, three years after his departure from north London. Reports from France have claimed that Levy has been calling Pochettino repeatedly about coming back to Spurs, yet those within the Argentine's camp have told football.london that is not the case.
Kane, meanwhile, has enjoyed a strong start to 2022 after a difficult end to 2021 in the wake of Euro 2020 heartbreak with England and will surely be linked with a move away from Spurs should they fail to reach the Champions League under Conte. Conte himself has been linked with a move to replace Pochettino in Paris in recent weeks by French publication Le Parisien.

The England captain's resurgence in form has been closely linked with Conte's arrival in the Premier League having scored 11 of his 12 goals this season since the manager's arrival in November. With the Italian potentially on the move there will surely be calls for Kane to look elsewhere with United linked again following Manchester City's pursuit of Erling Haaland.
In 2019, former Manchester United captain Roy Keane earmarked Kane as an obvious signing for United, explaining: "Just go and get Kane from Spurs. Easy. Just go and get him. What are you all staring at?"
At the time, Pochettino was Spurs manager and responding to Keane's comments instructing his former club to sign Kane, the Argentine explained: "I heard what was said.
"Of course, I respect him and admired him when he was a player. He was the kind of player who you want beside you, or as a centre-back like me you want him in front of you.
"Whenever I listen to him he is very clinical in his comments. Of course he loves good players and Harry Kane is a fantastic player. We more than agree Harry Kane deserves everything."
Despite being heavily linked with a move away from White Hart Lane this season, Kane is not yet looking beyond the end of this campaign and there are hopes within the club that he will remain a Spurs player ahead of next season, football.london understands.
