The 31-year-old then reassured fans, she was doing much better.

She explained: “So everything’s actually really really good. So they figured out that this is really weird and I don’t understand it a lot, but my body has too many histamines.”

And before starting the Q&A, Maura also confessed that she was sick again this week for a few hours before feeling fine again.

The Longford native added: “They’ve put me on antihistamines to like level it out.”

“I don’t want to be wrong in saying this, but I think if your body has too many histamines, I think I’m saying that right, certain things happen with foods like high acid foods.”

“So basically like kiwis, oranges, all these things are not going to know agree with me etc.”

Opening up about how sick she was feeling in February, Maura shared; “This is the first time for me to be out of bed in I don’t know how long.

“If you’re wondering what the noise is, it’s a fan because the sweat that’s protruding out through my body, I can’t even explain it.”

She added at the time: “If I’ve not lost a stone from this illness, I’d be shocked.”
