Maura Higgins pulled out of the British Fashion Awards at the eleventh hour after claiming her dress was "not very appropriate".
The Love Island alumni is known for her red carpet looks and sexy fashion sense, but admitted her outfit designed for last night made her too uncomfortable.
The 32-year-old Irish TV personality took to social media and dubbed the process a "nightmare" as she added she had had "zero control" over her custom-made gown, reports the Mirror.
While she was getting ready, Maura made a peace sign and wrote: "BFA tonight... first time to have zero control on my outfit... excited to see what @scott_henshall has designed for me."
Fashion designer Scott Henshall, who is the former creative director of Mulberry, reshared the post on Instagram alongside a heart emoji.
Maura returned to social media later to tell fans she backed out of the event at the last minute and explained why.
Maura admitted: "I've had a bit of a nightmare. So obviously you can see I am fully ready. Glam team are on point as usual. Basically.... the dress, the shoes, everything wasn't something I'd wear.
"I don't really know what to say, it's like, I just feel it's not very appropriate for the Fashion Awards.
"I obviously do like to go daring, you guys know that, but I just feel, I don't know. It's just not right. So yeah, I've decided not to go. I'm still in the hotel as you can see."
Designer Henshall, 47, also dressed Dame Kelly Holmes, Karen Millen OBE, Lady Victoria Hervey, Jude Law's daughter Iris and Talulah-Eve.
