Maura Higgins has urged youngsters to "be kind" to one another after hearing that her nephew was being bullied at school recently, which had prompted action from her.
The reality TV star, 31, took to Instagram yesterday to document that she had visited her nephew's school earlier this week, in response to concern that he's been bullied.
She shared footage of herself in a car arriving at the school to pick up her nephew, teasing that she'd gone there in a bid to solve any issues that he's been having with his peers.
The video showed excited students congregating around the vehicle and some even came up to the window. Maura looked a little embarrassed and smiled whilst inside it.
Maura, who has three siblings, was seen wearing a black shirt in the footage, which she shared with her 3.5 million followers on the platform yesterday following the outing.
Alongside the video, the Love Island alum wrote: "When you get a phone call to say he's being bullied at school yesterday ... so you make sure you're on the school pick up today."
She later took the opportunity to issue a message to young followers, encouraging them to be kind to one another, amid her experience with her nephew earlier this week.

Maura - who reached the final of Love Island in 2019 - wrote: "Remember kids be kind". The former islander added in a post: "PS: I'm not a regular aunty, I'm a cool aunty."
The video comes amid speculation that Maura could be among the contestants on this year's Masked Dancer, with some viewers suspecting that she's Tomato Sauce.
Fans of the ITV show noted that the masked celebrity did some Irish dancing in their first performance last week, which led to speculation that it's someone from Ireland.
Maura - who's from Ballymahon in County Longford - has been suggested by some as the person behind the mask, though their identity has yet to be unveiled on the show.
Another possible nod towards the reality TV star came with the clue that "a good sauce can be paired with anything" - potentially referencing the recoupling process on Love Island.
