Maura Higgins celebrated the end of her quarantine with a sizzling lingerie snap as the star prepares to take on hosting duties of RTE's brand new show.
The Irish model turned TV star has been in quarantine for over a week after flying home to Ireland to film her new RTE show, Glow Up Ireland.
She celebrated her last day of isolation with a sultry snap, as she revealed her plans to get tanned and glammed up before she enters the outside world again.
Posing in a cerise and black lace lingerie set, in the sizzling snap, she said: “Got my own back.”
Her proud Irish mammy Sharon replied: “Beautiful sweetie” as her famous friends and fans also rushed to compliment her under the snap.
Meanwhile, the star took to her story in a towel and told of her delight to be finishing her last day of quarantine.
Posing in front of her bathroom mirror after a shower, the Bellamianta brand ambassador said: “Last day of quarantine, think it’s time to say goodbye to Casper.”
The 30-year-old Longford native beauty travelled home earlier this month, just hours after confirming her relationship with Strictly star Giovanni Pernice.
The Love Island star said she has been missing her Italian boyfriend, who is currently on tour in the UK, during her isolation across the pond, and posted a video of the dancer rubbing curry sauce on her face saying “miss you”.
Maura’s new TV project with RTE will see ten of the country’s best amateur MUAs challenged in a range of assignments where they will show off their technical know-how, skill, artistry and imagination.
Set to air this autumn, the show will see the contestants tasked with creating make-up transformations – all taking place in a dedicated studio space Glow Up HQ.
Commenting on the new gig, Maura said: “I’m so excited to be the presenter of the first ever Glow Up Ireland.
“Having watched the last few series of the show in the UK this is such an amazing opportunity and the fact that this is my first presenting job and it's in Ireland is so overwhelming.
“It’s such a pinch me moment to be doing this back in my home country. I actually can’t believe it.
“Obviously we’re expecting a very high standard of Irish talent to come forward. “Applications are now open so get in touch to be in with a chance of landing one of the top ten coveted spots on the show.”
