Maura Higgins and Margot Robbie enjoy boozy lunch at drinks launch in London

Maura Higgins has been shaking off recent drama by spending time with Hollywood royalty.

The influencer, 34, found herself at the centre of headlines after an apparent ‘drunken kiss’ with McFly’s Danny Jones, 39, at a Brit Awards afterparty in March.

While the Irish star has stayed silent on the moment, Jones —who has been married to wife Georgia for over a decade—has since publicly apologised to his family.

Now, Higgins seems keen to move on, enjoying a glamorous London lunch with none other than Margot Robbie.

The Barbie star, 34, has long been a fan of Love Island, where the 2019 bombshell rose to fame, and the pair linked up while both were in the capital.

Taking to Instagram, Higgins shared a rooftop selfie from Broadwick Soho, rocking oversized designer shades and a ruffled white top.

“When Margot Robbie invites you to lunch… you go,” she captioned the snap, revealing she was at the Fever-Tree and Papa Salt Blood Orange Gin Spritz launch.

She later posted a clip of Robbie raising a toast before downing shots of her Papa Salt Coastal gin.

“Got me on shots at 2pm WHAT A WOMAN!!!!” Higgins joking wrote across the clip.

Robbie was joined by her fellow Papa Salt founders Charlie Maas, Josey McNamara, and husband Tom Ackerley alongside Fever-Tree Co-Founder and CEO Tim Warrillow to celebrate the launch of their ready-to-drink.

The Australian actress is currently in the UK filming her upcoming adaptation of Wuthering Heights, starring alongside Jacob Elordi.

Robbie has been a devoted Love Island fan since her early days in London, long before her Hollywood career took off.

Back in 2016, she lived in a four-bedroom Clapham flat—nicknamed The Manor—with six friends, tuning in to the reality show after work.

Reminiscing about that time, Robbie previously shared: “Love Island reminds me of living in London—watching it with my girlfriends when everybody was home from work.

“Those were the best days of my life. For me, where you live and what you do have to be simplistic and comfortable; otherwise, how are you possibly going to relax?”

Now married to Ackerley and having welcomed her first child last year, Robbie has remained close to the Love Island world.

At the Barbie premiere, she happily posed for selfies with Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu and her then-boyfriend Davide Sanclimenti.

She even helped former Islander Chris Taylor land a role in Barbie, which she also produced.

Though his screen time was brief—under 30 seconds—he joined an elite group of actors, playing a version of Ken alongside Ryan Gosling, Ncuti Gatwa, and Simu Liu.
