It’s shaping up to be a big week for Matthew Stafford. He and his teammates got their Super Bowl rings on Thursday night at a private ring ceremony in Los Angeles. On Saturday, Rams players will report to training camp, preparing to defend their title as world champions.
And in between those exciting two days, Stafford decided it was finally time to join Instagram.
Stafford opened an Instagram account Friday, sharing his first post – and it was a good one. He showed off his new Super Bowl ring from the festivities on Thursday night.
Stafford has never been a social media guy, staying off Instagram and Twitter until now. While he still hasn’t joined Twitter, and may never, he’ll be someone to follow on Instagram now.
Hopefully he learns not to read the comments after a Rams loss.
