Jasveen Sangha is one of five individuals indicted in connection to the tragic death of actor Matthew Perry due to ketamine. The shocking details emerged from the plea agreement of Perry's acquaintance, Erik Fleming, who admitted guilt to charges related to the distribution of ketamine.
According to court documents, Sangha, known as the 'Ketamine Queen,' allegedly referred to Perry by a name of a well-known character he portrayed on television. The specific name used was not disclosed in the agreement.
Aside from his role in 'Friends,' Perry was also known for his work in TV series such as 'The Odd Couple,' 'Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip,' and 'Go On.'
Other individuals implicated in Perry's death include his personal assistant, Kenneth Iwamasa, and two doctors, Salvador Plasencia and Mark Chavez. Iwamasa confessed to administering ketamine to Perry on the day of his passing, while Chavez and Plasencia were involved in the distribution of the drug.
Plasencia and Sangha have not yet entered pleas in their cases. Prosecutors allege that the doctors engaged in discussions about overcharging Perry for ketamine, indicating a troubling motive.
Perry, who was found deceased in his hot tub at the age of 54, had openly criticized ketamine in his memoir, citing negative effects despite using it to manage his depression.
The circumstances surrounding Perry's death continue to unfold as legal proceedings progress.
